1.  What is the primary function of the room you have planned?  (For the family, for entertaining, for additional or specialized storage such as to show off a treasured collection?)

2. If ‘for the family’ is your answer, what kind of activities will take place in the room?
   (Built-in’s can provide specialized storage for books, board games or kid’s sports – and even a cozy nook for playing cards or scrapbooking memories.)

3. If you answered ‘for entertaining’ ask your Kitchen and Bath Center designer to create a great wet bar complete with its own dishwasher, surround for your flat screen TV, storage for pool cues, board games or even a mini-kitchen for fixing quick snacks on the spot!)

4. How about specialized storage and workspace for your family’s hobbies? Gardening? You’ll want built-in cabinetry for garden tools and supplies and counters for easy cleanup. Music?  Store instruments and sheet music or CD’s and DVD’s – even treasured old vinyl.  Books? How about glass door library cabinets for visible but dust-free storage?
